What is Baptism?

Baptism is a way of showing others that you have entered into a relationship with Jesus Christ. It symbolizes what took place in your heart at the time of salvation.

Being completely immersed under water symbolizes the death and burial of Christ. It is also a symbol of the death and burial of our previous lives.

Rising up out of the water symbolizes the resurrection power of Jesus Christ to overcome sin and death! It is also a symbol of our new life in Christ!
